Moon Shadow

Uncle Moon, you wax and wane,

You play your games with tides and waves.

You dance along the golden Sun,

Then steal his gold with your silver gaze.

In satin darkness, an eclipse we behold,

Dusk in daytime, whispers in the cold.

Then you rise and leave, promising…

New suns,

Renewed brightness,

More days of golden glow.

And begins new dance side by side

Until the day your path again collide.
