Yep—my once-imaginary food blog is finally a real thing.
So, why start a blog?
Honestly, it began with a very practical need: I wanted to document the meals I cook. Not just the ones that turn out perfectly plated and photo-worthy, but the everyday dishes—my go-to comfort foods, family favorites, those accidental hits, and the ones lovingly passed down over long-distance phone calls with my mom, mom-in-law, or favorite aunties.
Right now, my “recipe collection” lives in a chaotic blend of phone notes, scribbled scraps of paper, and a camera roll full of food photos. One of my goals is to turn that mess into a personal recipe book—something organized, tested, and easy to come back to. And hey, if I can share it with friends (and food-loving strangers on the internet), even better!
Before I started, I spent a good amount of time exploring the world of food blogging—and wow, hats off to those amazing creators out there. They cook, photograph, write, post, build a community, and answer questions like clockwork. It's impressive and slightly intimidating.
But here I am, showing up anyway. With a full heart, a hungry stomach, and a hopeful spirit.
